The enchanting timeless beauty. Watching guests get swept away the minute they step foot on property. Working with our team, and all of our wonderful vendors to create an unforgettable experience for couples and their guests. Each wedding unique in it's own way, created specifically for that one day, making a couple's vision come to life. It really is such a unique venue, it's an honor to be a part of it.

Being a part of one of a couple's most special moments in life, surrounded by their family and friends. To share in their love, joy and celebration. To witness their exchange of vows, and hear the speeches given by parents.. It's an intimate look into the lives of strangers, at such an monumentos crossroads. I'm all about the love!!

How long have you been working in the industry? How long for Haiku Mill?

Well, technically I had my first job as the assistant to the wedding coordinator at the Shadowbrook restaurant in Capitola, California at the tender age of 19. I then went on to work in the restaurant industry in Seattle, Washington for a number of years, before landing here on Maui. My love of food once again had me working with a private chef on island, as well as with the Mill House at the Maui Tropical Plantation. Which is what brought me to the Haiku Mill three and a half years ago, as a Service Captain. I then went on to become the Catering Manager at the Haiku Mill for a few years, then transferring into the role of Event Manager in January of 2019. My love of food, people, and celebrating love and life are what brought me to this industry, and keep me here.

How long have you lived on Maui? Where did you live before?

I've lived on Maui for close to five years now. Prior to that, I was in Seattle for a decade, with a one year stint in Ashland, OR. Before that, it was all Cali. My first 12 years were spent in the San Francisco Bay Area, then 7 years in beautiful Sonoma County, Sebastopol to be exact. And then I went on to Santa Cruz for College. I've been lucky to live in some really wonderful places.. But, perhaps I'm biased ;)

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Going to the beach! Sharing time with friends.. Eating delicious food and drinking good wine. Reading, historical novels mostly.. Spending time in nature and in my secluded home, balancing out the business of work and social life.
